Welcoming in the Week

"Mondays with Lane and Kevin" was intended to be its own stand alone collaboration blog. Every Monday for a good month or so Lane and I could be found lounging around on his mom's balcony, listening to music, sipping on Sierra Nevada, and calling over anyone who either didn't have a job or didn't have work on that particular day. Fun times almost always ensued. These days Lane is landlocked in his Berkeley bachelor pad and I no longer have this sacred day off, so things are a little different on Mondays. The depressing truth is that "Mondays with Lane and Kevin" may never come to fruition, and even more depressing, Lane and I may never spend an entire monday dicking around on his mom's balcony. So this post is dedicated to the memory of Mondays past.
The beer run is always a promising start to a successful monday.
Paper bags are no longer reserved for drinking beer in public places.
Lane looks good in a tie, regardless of whether or not he knows how to tie one.
Beats are always in full effect.
Frank the godfather.
Its always just a matter of time before Lane cooks bacon.
And then they blew it.
Nothing like getting some ink to ease the pain of a Giants loss. Luckily Rick wasn't around every Monday back then or else we would have full sleeves.
These two vixens showed up to watch the madness unfold.
Lane was up next.
"I swear to God that you're going to get a tattoo if I do!"
I have always loved Rick, but on this particular Monday, he showed just what a Legend he truly is.
And somewhere in Monterey Jonathan wonders,"what the hell is wrong with you people?"

Potential Preview

The "Mondays with Lane and Kevin" post is long overdue, and nothing about that is going to change tonight. I can only offer a small glimpse into this strange world by posting a pair of cryptic photographs.
Beams of light and bacon smoke.
Do or die Wilson. It is crunch time children.
