SNK all Day

Things like birthdays, potlucks, circumcisions, and going away parties always make me reflect on the friendships that I have made and held onto over the past decade or so. Many of my close friends I see on a regular bases, but others only seem to pop up in my life for a short time and then recede into the great unknown. I find myself urning for the days when The Cave was still in existence, or when Stink and Cho still took up residence in San Jose. I find myself urning for a time when gathering up a large collection of homies and wasting away the day doing jack shit wasn't just some lofty concept smothered by the reality of work and responsibility.

Quynh's going away party my have been one of the last great SNK gatherings I can recall. Just about everyone was in attendance, and dressed as if attending a wedding. I would like to highlight one man in particular from this photo, and that is Joseph Blas. His birthday party is happening tonight and chances are many key members of the SNK will not be present. Regardless of this fact, I do feel like he will have an amazing night. And that is because Joe is incapable of having a bad night. I love you Hyphy, rage your face off.

Photos from the Past Unleashed on that Ass

Even though it has nothing at all to do with this post, I still must declare my hatred for Chase's Quick Deposit program. Now that that has been established, let me transport you to a time in the not so distant past. It was some month close to summer during the year of 2011, and I had just found a way to get the entire weekend off of work. When this happens I usually proceed to shit my pants in excitement and plan some short vacation away from San Jose. What better way to spend a weekend than by visiting Peter Jensen in Santa Barbara and go to the Transworld video premier in LA? Nope, I couldn't think of anything better either.

I became severely parched during my drive, but apparently picked a really bad location.

The open road is "the homie."

I cannot remember the name of this town, but this bar had deals like this one. We must blow the lid off this joint at some point.

Words cannot describe how much I love this fool.

The view of beautiful LA from our hotel room. This was several hours before people started throwing tall cans at lizard king because the video broke part way through Nestor's part.

Making LG proud.

2012 21 Days in

Due to my barrage of posts during the holidays I have a taken a brief hiatus from Clogging.

This photo was neither taken by me, nor was it taken during the year 2012. The reason I have posted it is because I have feeling that its raw strangeness will be duplicated ten fold in the coming months. Here we go.
