Troubled Times
When the going gets tough, the tough say "fuck it." Tuck your worries away for the summer my friends! Time to shred and have fun.
A good old fashion stump sighting can brighten the darkest of days.
Finding fun in the midst of anguish.

The Three B's
Sometimes all the puzzle pieces of life tumble gracefully into place. Sometimes all of the stress and turmoil that comes with daily life vanishes into an abyss of Beers, BBQ and Backside Noseblunts. Sometimes the three B's are all a man needs to be happy.
Peter prepares the condiments.
Young Benjamin loves to renegade his beer then pawn them off to others. In this picture his gingerly sips America's finest brew.
The Weed King cometh.
Chase "might be drunk."
The years of working at Happy Hound really have paid off.
Solid meat.
Mustard is the king of condiments.
Bongathon enjoys his meal amongst a patch of lovely bright flowers.
Beer and BBQ...
...and Backside Noseblunts.
Those who were unable to land 360 flips on the cruiser board had to shotgun a beer.
Weed King reigns supreme.

Sorry
Despite what the aforementioned post suggests, there will be a slight wait on the Peter Raffin Clog. Instead I will dedicate this entry to Matt Hicks, a young man whose status in the greater Campbell region of Silicon Valley is nothing short of legendary. Who else can firecracker three blocks by day and kill bottles of rum by night?

Full Circle
Twas many moons ago that young Peter Raffin performed a 180 nose grind on this hubba ledge, and had the sequence run in Slap Magazine. I vividly recall watching Peter skate through a pair of booze stained eyes and wondering what the future of his skating would be like.
Several years down the road, and we find ourselves in the very same location. I with my camera and Peter with his board, both living the only life we know...
...skateboarding. Lately I have witnessed many changes in my own life and the lives of those around me. I have felt the pressure of work and school intensify, and have seen the same pressure placed on those who skate for a living. The stakes are higher and and road is rougher for Mr. Raffin, but he will always have his true friends by his side. During these troubled times we huddle next to the warmth of carefree nights like these...(stay tuned for next Clog post).
